Another Exciting Installment of Adam's Life

It's that time of year—blogs have been reduced to meaningless content from my personal life that will get a maximum of four views and is time to schedule for next semester's classes. While I still need to speak with my advisor, I have spent longer than I would have liked on the Ellucian Degree Works and have a pretty reasonable idea of what will constitute my schedule for next year.

Absolutely too early for anyone under the age of 23: 8:00 a.m. And guess what! On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from around the middle of January through at least May, Adam will be trudging through the unforgiving winter of the Northern countryside.

"For what class?" The audience cheers!

Oh, let me tell you, the class sure is important: the Honors Great Works seminar. This class will explore themes of literature found in great literary works over the last few hundred years. What an absolute blast.

Second class on the Monday, Wednesday and Friday schedule is Environmental Issues. While to most this may sound like an absolutely trash class, I am really looking forward to learning about all the ways humans destroy the environment. While this may contribute to the overarching sense of dread and anxiety I get when the effects of climate change are theorized and mentioned with unsettling accuracy.

Other classes will include multimedia writing, communication research methods, communication theory and my absolute favorite practicum. I also will be starting my first semester of the philosophy capstone and look forward to writing a twenty page paper.

  1. I took Environmental Issues last spring semester, GREAT class. I am typically not interested in math and science courses, hence why I am a PR and Marketing major, but this class was very enjoyable and engaging. Best of luck!
