Live Tweetz

How many of us have actually live tweeted? I know that for myself, many from my high school would live tweet The Walking Dead before most of us stopped watching what has now become a burning pile of trash. Last weekend, I had to live tweet an event for homecoming. Naturally, I chose perhaps the easiest event to live tweet at a college the size of ours—the homecoming football game.

At first, this seemed like a wonderful idea, being that I was already going to the game to support one of the cheerleaders, I might as well pop out a few tweets. Sadly, there was one huge monkey wrench thrown into the plan: the weather was absolutely terrible. Not only was it absolutely freezing outside, it rained the entire game. It wasn't a summery fun rain, it was a rain backed with the sharp, icy barbs of wind. If it weren't for the fact that I was tasked with live tweeting, I would have turned around twenty steps outside my door. Furthermore, I'm surprised that I didn't lose more followers. I know my live tweeting was annoying but it seems most people just kept scrolling like it was absolutely nothing.

  1. I saw the game too , but I didn't think that the homecoming football game was the easiest event to live tweet because that was my first time watching football! I didn't even know the rules, but I enjoyed it. GO BEARS.
